Embedded platform for wireless consumer electronics devices Artimi’s A-150 is a highly flexible, dual-mode, low power, programmable platform for the development of high-speed consumer electronics devices using WiMedia®-based Certified Wireless USB and next-generation Bluetooth®. The A-150 provides developers with a complete solution through its powerful combination of all required hardware, advanced firmware for WiMedia-compliant MACs and a programmable applications processor, together with development tools. The A-150 requires minimal integration, maximizes engineering efficiency and minimizes time to market for wireless applications requiring high-speed bulk data transfer and synchronization.
Typical such devices include PCs and peripherals, docking stations, wireless hubs, digital cameras and camcorders, personal media players and mobile handsets.
The A-150 partners with a WiMedia-compliant PHY to form a complete solution for wireless connectivity in consumer electronics devices. The A-150 has successfully completed preliminary interoperability testing with Intel’s Peripheral Development Kit (PDK) using Intel’s emulated PHY and all available third party PHYs.
Artimi provides semiconductors, software and reference designs for high data rate wireless connectivity, including WiMedia®-based Certified Wireless USB and next generation Bluetooth®. Artimi’s products employ ultra-wideband radio techniques to enable high-speed wireless bulk data transfer between portable consumer electronics products.
