Next Generation HSUPA
Featuring an advanced processing power and expanded memory, the PinPoint X is optimized for high-speed cellular networks. Leveraging high-speed HSUPA technology, the Sierra Wireless AirLink PinPoint X provides wide area wireless data access at speeds up to 7.2Mbps downlink and 2.0Mbps uplink.
The North American model has a dual diversity antenna optimized for 850/1900MHz, while the Europe/Asia model is optimized for 850/2100MHz, to provide improved performance for HSUPA.
In areas where HSUPA is not available the PinPoint X is backward compatible to HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS technology.
