AirLink™ Helix RT Intelligent 3G Router

The AirLink Helix RT mobile broadband router features embedded ALEOS™ intelligence on a robust 3G routing platform. Helix RT is equipped with two high-speed Ethernet ports and an optional secure Wi-Fi access point, delivering a single-device solution for extending an enterprise network into the field. The IPsec-compliant onboard VPN client can provide an encrypted tunnel from the Helix RT router to any enterprise network.
Business Continuity
The Helix RT router provides managed failover to ensure reliable WAN connectivity. When used with any Ethernet WAN connection (DSL, satellite, etc), either the Ethernet connection or the onboard 3G modem can be designated as the primary WAN connection. Helix RT routes traffic through the designated primary WAN and switches to the designated secondary WAN connection if the primary connection is unavailable. This intelligence ensures data continuity for businesses that rely on real-time transaction processing, security monitoring, or online customer service functions.
Field Connectivity
Helix RT routers can serve as a central hub of connectivity for remote locations. By providing a complete network solution in one device, the Helix RT can support retail locations, field teams, and other fixed or mobile enterprise environments that need secure, reliable connectivity. When deployed in combination with ACEnet remote management, a large Helix RT deployment can be monitored and configured centrally by IT managers, ensuring a single seamless network solution to any location within reach of a 3G network.
