The licence allows the licensee to develop, evaluate, test, market, manufacture and sell voice & data modems based on SLM-GG Deliverables include: Optimised image code, including protocol stack, device drivers, protocol stack, L1 (APL, SPL), Sleep Mode, Flash File System (FFS) and Test Mode (TM) for SiLabs/NXP 4904 single chip phone GSM/GPRS sub-layers: L1 integration layer, MAC, RLC, LAPDm, GRR/RR, LLC, GMM/MM, SM, GSMS, CC, SS, SNDCP, MN, REG and SIM i/f for quad-band operation on SiLabs 4904 chip AT-command interface Documentation on the protocol stack and external interfaces jHAT graphical analysis & development tool Schematic design and PCB (eg Gerber) layout with manufacture drives Consultancy for licensee's board layout SiLabs 4904 chip (part: Si4904-B-GL) according to purchase order placed with CCasia Includes Echo Cancellation, Noise Reduction Calibration DLL for PC (for Windows XP) for linking with customer's calibration test sequence to do all RF calibration testing Final test DLL (for Windows XP) Download station DLL (for Windows XP) 4904 Chip Fee and Royalties The 4904 chip cost includes the following royalties: Optimised image code, incl protocol stack, FFS, TM Reference design SiLabs 4904 chip Support and maintenance for reference design excluding protocol stack Maintenance and Support CCww offers a maintenance service that provides: Co-ordination of reviews Monthly management summary Formal review at significant milestones or not longer than 4 weeks after last formal review Hotline and email support 5 days / wk; on-site when agreed to be necessary Initial problem data gathering, investigation and advice through CCasia Secondary investigation and work-around (where appropriate) Defect fix provision (patch and consolidated releases) Updates to supplied functions based on version updates according to changes to the 3GPP standard version Regular updates to consolidate patches The maintenance program covers any additional features supplied under the SoW CCww offers documentation on the protocol stack architecture, implementation and interfaces that the manufacturer's original data is referred to at all times |
