Uses matching circuit and cut-out area for optimising efficiency. The antenna has balanced antenna characteristics. The minimum populated ground plane size is 20 x 30 mm. The antenna has RHCP characteristics suitable for reception of GPS signals.
It should be noted that the radiation patterns change with the size of the ground plane as described for the two reference boards indicated in the radiation patterns.
